This work examines habitat loss and and the mass decline of global frog populations. The punctured motif that the central frogs are seated on are bacteria spores and at the base sits a global commodities index. The punctured design makes the image not quite perceptible until up close, an almost braille like mark. Its form has broken through the surface and in doing so leaves an undeniable scar and ruptured paper surface. Suggestive of the current disruption and de stabilizing influences that anthropogenic forces are having on the natural world order.
