This installation was inspired by an article I came across in Outside Magazine in 2016 about global warming and its implications in the polar regions which was written by a veterinary forensic pathologist who performs autopsies on marine mammals. I became interested in the question of scale and historical records and the changes from broader and larger viewpoint to the more hidden, molecular level of the impact of a changing climate.
